CRASH

Seven stories of different families, take place for 2 days in “Los Angeles”. In the film we can see that in the city there is a lot of vandalism and a lot of murders. It can also be observed how they operate the characters, and the subject that especially is worked, it is the racism. They are, the 7 stories:

1- A detective of police, that a brother has addict in the drugs. The Mother of both sons, will suffer a lot when the smallest son dies murdered.




2- Thieves of cars that are theorizing constantly the society and they think that the whites always think badly of them.

3- A famous politician and his irritated wife.

4- A racist white veteran policeman (worrying for an ill father at home), who at first takes advantage of the advantages of being some police, but he will change.

5- A director of Hollywood successful and his wife that they have to treat with the racist policeman.

6- A father of Persian immigrant that he buys a gun to protect his shop, and due to the door of the shop, passes a misfortune. But luckily it ends well.

7- A Hispanic locksmith and her young daughter that she was murdered, but luckily she lives.



- CHARACTERS OF THE FILM


Don Cheadle:
Donald Frank (November 29, 1964) is an American actor, film producer, philanthropist, and author. Cheadle rose to prominence in the late 1990s and the early 2000s for his supporting roles in the Steven Soderbergh-directed films Out of Sight, Traffic, and Ocean's Eleven. In 2004, his lead role as Rwandan hotel manager Paul Rusesabagina in the genocide drama film Hotel Rwanda earned him an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor. He also campaigns for the end of genocide in Darfur, Sudan, and co-authored a book concerning the issue titled Not On Our Watch: The Mission To End Genocide In Darfur And Beyond.







Brendan Fraser:
Brendan James(born December 3, 1968) is a Canadian-American actor of stage and screen. He has starred in many major Hollywood films, including The Mummy film series, Crash, Dudley Do-Right, Looney Tunes: Back in Action, George of the Jungle and Journey to the Center of the Earth.





Sandra Annette Bullock:
Sandra Annette Bullock (July 26, 1964) is an American actress who rose to fame in the 1990s, after roles in successful films such as Speed and While You Were Sleeping. She has since established her career with films such as Miss Congeniality and Crash, which received critical acclaim. In 2007, she was ranked as the 14th richest female celebrity with an estimated fortune of $85 million. In 2009, Bullock starred in the most financially successful films of her career, The Proposal and The Blind Side. Bullock was awarded a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress, a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role, and the Academy Award for Best Actress, for her role as Leigh Anne Tuohy in The Blind Side.






Christopher Brian:

Christopher Brian Bridges (born September 11, 1977), better known by his stage name Ludacris, is an American rapper and actor. Along with his manager, Chaka Zulu, Ludacris is the co-founder of Disturbing tha Peace, an imprint distributed by Def Jam Recordings. Ludacris has sold 12 million albums in the United States and 17 million records sold worldwide. Ludacris has won the Screen Actors Guild, Critic's Choice, MTV, and Grammy Awards during his career.







Jennifer Esposito:
Jennifer Esposito (born April 11, 1973) is an American actress, dancer and model.








Matthew Raymond:
Matthew Raymond "Matt" Dillon (born February 18, 1964) is an American actor. He began acting in the late 1970s, gaining fame as a teenage idol during the 1980s.





Terrence Dashon:
Terrence Dashon Howard (born March 11, 1969) is an American actor and singer. Having appeared in film and on television since the late 1980s, Howard had his first major role in the 1995 film Mr. Holland's Opus, which subsequently led to a number of roles in films and high visibility among African American audiences. Howard broke into the mainstream with a succession of well-reviewed television and film roles between 2004 and 2006. Among his roles in movies includes Ray, Lackawanna Blues, Crash, Four Brothers, Hustle & Flow, Get Rich or Die Tryin', Idlewild, The Brave One. Howard co-starred in Iron Man and reprised the role in the video game adaption. He was replaced in this role in the sequel Iron Man 2, by Academy Award nominee Don Cheadle (his Crash co-star) in October 2008.
