The meaning of the title of the movie, Crash, has the meaning of seven families, all different, they're doing their own lives, and in the finally their CRASH, match their lives.

CRASH

Seven stories of different families, take place for 2 days in “Los Angeles”. In the film we can see that in the city there is a lot of vandalism and a lot of murders. It can also be observed how they operate the characters, and the subject that especially is worked, it is the racism. They are, the 7 stories:

1- A detective of police, that a brother has addict in the drugs. The Mother of both sons, will suffer a lot when the smallest son dies murdered.




2- Thieves of cars that are theorizing constantly the society and they think that the whites always think badly of them.

3- A famous politician and his irritated wife.

4- A racist white veteran policeman (worrying for an ill father at home), who at first takes advantage of the advantages of being some police, but he will change.

5- A director of Hollywood successful and his wife that they have to treat with the racist policeman.

6- A father of Persian immigrant that he buys a gun to protect his shop, and due to the door of the shop, passes a misfortune. But luckily it ends well.

7- A Hispanic locksmith and her young daughter that she was murdered, but luckily she lives.

Don Cheadle:
Donald Frank (November 29, 1964) is an American actor, film producer, philanthropist, and author. Cheadle rose to prominence in the late 1990s and the early 2000s for his supporting roles in the Steven Soderbergh-directed films Out of Sight, Traffic, and Ocean's Eleven. Sandra Annette Bullock:
Sandra Annette Bullock (July 26, 1964) is an American actress who rose to fame in the 1990s, after roles in successful films such as Speed and While You Were Sleeping. Matthew Raymond "Matt" Dillon (born February 18, 1964) is an American actor. He began acting in the late 1970s, gaining fame as a teenage idol during the 1980s.





Terrence Dashon:
Terrence Dashon Howard (born March 11, 1969) is an American actor and singer. Having appeared in film and on television since the late 1980s, Howard had his first major role in the 1995 film Mr. Holland's Opus, which subsequently led to a number of roles in films and high visibility among African American audiences. Howard broke into the mainstream with a succession of well-reviewed television and film roles between 2004 and 2006. Meaning of Crash in the film

The word CRASH in the film has the meaning of some families or groups that they aren't known, but doing their own lives, at the last they crash, they match their lives, for something (bad or well).

Characters

  • Brendan Fraser as Rick Cabot, the polician that he likes vots medium racial politics.

  • Sandrea Bullock as Jean Cabot, Rick's wife, she's racial and she was angry with Rick because he contract an immigrant(Daniel Ruiz) as a lock smith, knowing that immigrant boys, thiefs his car. When she falls off, of the stairs, any "friend" could help her, but an hispanic woman yes.

  • Chris Bridges as Anthony, an African boy, who robs cars (Rick's car), with Peter.

Sandra Bullock(Jean Cabot): Sandra Bullock in the film is the wife of a politician. They have prejudices with the black people because she think that all the black an immigrants people are thief and criminals. But in the final of the film he discover that she was wrong, because one day she fall and the only person who help her is a immigrant person.









Thandie Newton (Christine Thayer.) : In the film is a woman that is married with a important TV director. In the first scene the police stop she and he husband. The police officer ( Matt Ryan ) touch her intimate parts. Her Husband don't say nothing. When they arrive home they have a discussion. Later they have and accident, and the police office (Matt Ryan) risks his live to save Cristine. First Cristine not accept his help but finally the Police Office convince him and they can save they live. In the final of the film they reconciled with her husband.


Don Cheadle ( Graham Waters ) : Graham Walters is a Detective, in first scene of the film Walters go in a scene of a crime. We only can see one shoe of the victim. Graham's mother is a little crazy, and she take drugs and other thinks : Cat Food, Clean products.... etc. Her Brother ( Peter) he leave home. One politician offer one important office to him, but he can't do these office because her brother (Peter) is a criminal. The politician say him that if he blame one innocent they clean he brother history. He accepts. In the finish we are in the scene of the crime and we saw that the dead is the brother
of Graham.


Matt Dillon (Matt Ryan). Matt Ryan is a Police Officer, his father is heal and he want to find one solution to cure him. In one scene he stop a black car and revised the car, in the inspection he touch Cristine Tayer, she are really hungry. Then he go to and hospital and the doctor is Shaniqua, a black person and she don't wont give the the cure the father of Matt because he is a withe person. Then his car mate are not going more with he because he say that Matt is racist. In other escene Matt have to save Cristine Tayer, first Cristine don't wont but after matt convence him.






Terrence Howard ( Cameroon Tayer) Cameron is a important TV director
his wife is Cristine. One day they are going with car, and the police officer
Matt stooped they. Then Matt touch the intimates parts of Cristine. When Cameroon and Cristine arrive home they are discussion. In the final of the film they






Shaun is a persian person that he and they family arrive in the city.They open a new shop, and he hire a person because he won to do a new lock, but the locksmith say that the problem is not the lock is the door. Then they are in a discussing. The next day when Sahun arribe to the shop the see that the shop is all destroyed. He go to kill the locksmith but the gun is not a real gun and he don't kill de locksimth.








Michael Peña is a lock smith, he have a discusion with a client. Wen he arribe home, he's daugther is frigtening because he heard a gun. Michael give him a invisible coat. One day one person try to kill (with a not real gun) him, but she's daugther "protect" him.

CRASH MEANING

The meaning of the title of the movie means that a set of families, all different, some people are RECIST, other people are friendly, but there are another thankless. All these people together and made them pass you can see how the film will, a person who was very RECIST, at the end of the movie is not RECIST.
In general, the film tells us that people can change over time.
